The SNOEK SANDCLASSIFIER is used as a dewatering apparatus in water purification installations. The axle less screw conveyor built into the machine and the special design ensure that sand and sediment products are removed efficiently. The key to its effectiveness lies in the low revolutions of the screw, the design and the tank intake. Water containing suspended products and potential sediments are pumped or flows freely into the SNOEK SANDCLASSIFIER. The design and low revolutions mean that vortexing is kept to a minimum so that an optional sedimentation of sand and solid matter is obtained. The moving particles which end op in the sand classifier are kept to the front which prevents them from blocking the gravity outlet.

The Snoek Sand Classifier is made in SS 1.4301 as standard (with SS 1.4401 available as an optional). The wearing strips are made from oil-hardened steel (number depends on type). The screw is made of special steel. The sand classifier is powered by a slip on motor-gearbox.
